Josephine Tobin had 10 walkers out on A walk taking in Cush circuit in an anticlockwise direction, Galtymore via Lough Curra ramp, Galtybeg, and Cush. Visibility poor, chilly in N.E wind but great day out on the hills. Joined Mary Power and her gang of walkers for lunch on Galtymore.

Mary Power led 7 walkers on B walk, crossed Attychraan river with ease, walked under Knocknagalty and Knockduff to reach summit of Galtee Mor. Lunch at summit South side – met our A walk group. Decended via base of Galtee Beag and home via Black Road.

Brid Ryan Bourke had 11 out on Sunday Ramble in Latteragh. With forestry work being undertaken their normal loop ramble wasn’t possible. They walked for over an hour and as far as they could until they came to work zone and been told by Forestry worker that it wouldn’t be safe for walkers to proceed they turned around and headed back to start. Doing a walk in reverse changes the walk completely, what was lovely downhill now becomes different challenge. Group enjoyed ramble with fresh eyes.
