###Update### 8th June 2020
Mid Tipp Hillwalkers Steering Committee’s priority is protecting the health of our members and their families and loved ones.
The Club hopes that everyone is keeping safe and well and would encourage members to continue walking independently which is an excellent way of maintaining health and well being and to follow the Governments advice on walking 2 metres from others and maintaining the required social distance. So for the moment, stay safe, stay active, social distance and wash hands everyone and we hope to see you soon on the hills.
The Club wants to make a safe and responsible return to hill walking.
Following the announcement of the move to Phase 2 and the acceleration of the plan set out in the Roadmap for Reopening Society & Business, Mountaineering Ireland has summarised the key details for hillwalkers in the Republic of Ireland. Mountaineering Ireland will continue to update the guidelines based on government advice.
