15 Dec 2019

15 Dec 2019 the A walk with a group of 7 led by Ger Fewer with snow underfoot, drifts of up to 2 feet and foggy conditions with very little visibility. Starting at the Black road, up by the Attychraan river, onto Galtee Beg and on towards O’Loughlin’s castle – due to the challenging conditions they turned back, before they intended to, and returned via the Black Road.

Dan Condren with 4 walkers on the B walk, they experienced extreme cold and a heavy blizzard near the summit of Knockanaffrin. A bracing and exhilarating day to be out. The coffee in Feehan’s never tasted so good afterwards!

This coming Sunday (Dec 22) A and C walks leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 10am.
