On Sunday 15 Sept 2019 Bridget Browne led the A Walk and group of 12 on the Cush circuit in reverse, on the Galtees, via the ramp. In almost perfect conditions except for the lack of sun, but dry and great visibility most of the day. Great bunch to be out with and a very enjoyable day.
John G O’Dwyer led a lovely C walk in the Knockmealdowns in ideal weather conditions with a walk up to Bay Lough and down by Loughglenbridge. The group of 17 enjoyed the loop walk starting in Clogheen with views of the Galtees and Sugar Loaf. Returning to Clogheen, the group enjoyed lovely hospitality In Allen’s Pub, Clogheen.

Walking is a great way to get to know people with a similar interest with the added bonus of getting to know our local hills and mountains. There’s a choice of walks each Sunday, so there’s something to suit everyone.
