Sun Mar 17 2019 Dan Condren led the A walk. Five walkers turned up on what turned out to be a lovely day for walking. They began at Carey’s Castle and walked alongside the river through some beautiful woodlands by the Gleanary river and through the deserted village of Gleanary. They then did the circuit including Long Hill and Lachtnafrankee, before returning along the same beautiful track.

Denise Laffan led the C Walk with a group of 7 starting at Kings Yard and on through a woodland which led out alongside the Behanagh River, the group then headed along Carrigeen Mountain where lunch was had with snowy views of Monabrack, then descended down to walk along the Blackrock River and back through the forest to Kings Yard.

This coming Sun (Mar 24) A and B walks leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 11am. All welcome. Wear outdoor clothing and suitable footwear and bring a rain jacket and a packed lunch.
