With snow underfoot and a harsh wind chill, the A walk was led by Denise Laffan starting at Boulakennedy taking in Greenane Beag and detouring the summit of Greenane due to high winds, skirted back by west side of Ballyhurrow where the wind had calmed and the group enjoyed good chat and lovely views.

Dan Condren lead the C walk. Lovely walking conditions – great underfoot. Very cold wind all day, though, so they stayed well wrapped up! They did a loop from Boulakennedy near where the A walkers began, and had lunch in the shed at the house above the Limekiln. They were out for almost 4 hours, and retired for a well deserved cuppa in Fahy’s Cashel afterwards.
