19 Dec 2021

Despite Covid, the 30-year tradition of Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers Holly Walks continued on Sunday 19 Dec 2021. Starting from Clogheen, they followed the Soldier’s Road to Bay Lough. There, by the lakeside, they enjoyed lunch followed by lovely carols. Then, it was back down to Loughglenbridge and homewards by the Tipperary Heritage Way with Barry Maher winning the competition enroute for a walking pole donated by Michael Walsh. Afterwards, they enjoyed tasty finger food and craic, compliments of the atmospheric Market Stone Pub, Clogheen to top off a lovely winter walk.
Well done to everyone who made the effort to turn out for our rescheduled Holly walk. Merry Christmas to one and all.
