Sunday 19 Jan 2010 Ollie Walsh led 7 on A walk, out on a glorious sunny winter’s day the amphitheatre of Coumshingaun the venue.
John G O’Dwyer led C walk. The group of 11 headed for Coumshingaun, which they found was already packed with no parking spaces at Kilclooney Wood Carpark. Went to an alternate parking place and then continued initially through fields to the lake on a beautifully sunny day. Afterwards went around to the cave system at the back of Coumshingaun where they enjoyed lunch with amazing views east over the lake. Returning to the cars, they were just in time to hear commentary on the last exciting few minutes of Borrisoleigh’s heroic defeat to Ballyhale.
