On Sunday 25 Nov 2018 Eoin Wolahan led his group of 9 on the A walk. They started from Kings yard and walked down to the Attycran river. They went through a lovely forest area which was challenging. They proceeded the long climb up Galtee Mor and admired the beautiful scenic scenes in the winter sunshine. They had lunch at the top of Galtee Mor. They then walked westward to Bengour and after crossed Glounreagh river on their way back to the cars. It was a most enjoyable walk in excellent walking conditions.
Tina Bourke and Brid Ryan Bourke led the C walk. The group of 13 headed to Cannon’s Hill Clonmel. They headed up the forest track and onto the path for Holy year cross where they had lunch in glorious sunshine. They headed towards the Punchbowl where they had 360 degree views. They returned to cars by forest track in lovely evening sunshine.
