Sunday 26 Jan 2019 Willie Fahey led A walk in the Knockmealdowns starting close to the Reservoir in Goaten Bridge and took a circular route to the top of Knockshane where lunch was enjoyed in shelter from a biting wind. The group of 12 proceeded to the top of Knockmealdown and home via the base of Knocknagnauv.
Winnie Flynn led B walk with 12 out on the Galtees, starting at Mountain Lodge in Glenagarra woods onto Cullenagh shoulder up to to Lachlan’s castle where group had lunch, down Cnoc na gCapall, to river and back to cars, great weather and a great day had by all.
Lovely Ramble led by Tina Bourke to Cannon’s Hill, Clonmel in lovely walking conditions. Great to see new people out enjoying the hills, fresh air and company. The group of 18 completed the loop walk with views over Clonmel.
This coming Sunday (Feb 2) A and C walks leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 10am.
