27 May 2018

Sunday 27th May 2018 Matt Joy led the C walk. They made their way to Lough Diheen on the northern side of the Galtees. The day was full of discussion on the geology, history, folklore. Weather was good with just a brief shower the walk was approximately four hours in total but they didn’t get to see the serpent in the lake.

Dan Condren led the A walk. With just a small group out on Sunday they did an exploratory walk in the Glenanore area of the Comeraghs, coming across the most beautiful bluebell carpeted woodland floor with correspondingly beautiful scents.
