Bookings are now coming in for the Kerry Charity Challenge which is going ahead in the highly popular Castlerosse Hotel, Killarney from April 3 to 5. On offer will be ascents of Carrauntoohil (led by Dan Condren) and Mangerton Mountain (led by Josephine Tobin). There will also be a moderate level walk to the hidden valley of Coumloughra (led by John G O’Dwyer), a captivating low-level ramble on the Old Kenmare Road, and an easy nature walk in Killarney National Park (led by Jimmy Duggan).
The cost is €199 which includes accommodation and breakfast on Friday and Saturday, dinner followed by entertainment on Saturday evening and use of the hotel’s swimming pool and leisure centre.
