Last weekend October 20th, 21th and 22nd Mid Tipp Hill Walkers enjoyed the 19th Annual Autumn Charity Challenge based in
The Falls Hotel, Ennistymon, Co Clare. With the arrival of Storm Brian plans changed for the weekend walking schedule. Safety is alway paramount when taking out groups walking so two groups headed out on Saturday. Josephine Tobin led The Caher Valley Loop walk which began and ended at Fanore beach. Winds were strong and blustery, but was enjoyed by all.
John G O’Dwyer and his group enjoyed at a safe distance their walk and the views near the cliffs of Moher.
On Sunday Ray Creaney lead a walk in the East Burren. Weather conditions had improved and the group enjoyed a great day out.
The Sunday Ramble was to be in Ballyvaughan – The Wood loop walk was a very low level walk and access to the walk was flooded and inaccessible. We happily visited Hazel Mountain Chocolate factory and cafe near Bellharbour, Co. Clare.
