Last Sunday Sept 24, in beautiful weather, Mick Fewer led a group of 12 on an unusual circuit in the Nire Valley, taking in the Sgillogues, and Coumalocha, before going up the Nose, then around at high level before descending to the Sgillogues again.
Ray Creaney with eight colleagues on the B walk were also in the Comeraghs, taking in Lough Coumdulla and Knockanaffrin from the Rathgormack trailhead.
Sunday, 01 October, A and C walks leave from opposite the fire station in Cashel at 11am. New walkers are welcome to come along, so, for a healthy, sociable and enjoyable activity, feel free to join us in Cashel at 11am. Just bring boots, suitable clothes and a packed lunch. A change of clothes and particularly footwear for after the walk is also strongly advised. The full programme of walks is now on website.
