This year’s continental trip is to the Dolomites in North-East Italy. The Dolomites are frequently referred to as the most beautiful mountain range in Europe, and our trip offers a great range of outdoor activities including:
- spectacular walks for all levels (cable cars can be used to gain height easily so that even easy walks can take place high up in the mountains)
- Via ferrata, beginners and challenging (the Dolomites is the most famous centre of via ferrata in the Europe, and the place where they were first installed during the first world war, much of which was fought in the area)
- Hopefully, Marmolada, the highest point in the Dolomites at 3343m
In short, there will be plenty of walking for everybody.
Our base will be the spectacularly located Corvara in Badia.
